Hayward Hosts First Gay Pride Parade

The San Francisco Bay area has long been known for its active gay community — and now the gay rights movement have moved to one more town. Over the weekend the East Bay city of Hayward held its first gay pride festival and long-time residents say the city has become far more tolerant of gays and lesbians.
