CDF Suspends Burning

The state Department of Forestry and Fire Protection is suspending all burning permits in state-controlled areas. The order is effective tomorrow and requires that any planned burn site must be inspected and approved before a permit will be reissued. Campfires will still be allowed in campgrounds with permission of authorities.
