A Piece Of The World Trade Center

Woodland city officials are planning to raise $2,500 to bring a two-foot piece of steel from the World Trade Center to Yolo County.
The steel will be used in the next county building erected or as a public monument. They have until June 28th to transport the metal. City leaders say the events of September 11th have made a mark on everyone and they just want to honor those who lost their lives.
