Besides winning Miss Photogenic, this year´s Mother Lode Round-Up Queen Kimberlie Njirich set a new record for pre-selling Mother Lode Round-up Rodeo tickets: more than 18-hundred. The Sonora High School Junior was crowned top cowgirl during the pageant and coronation last night at the Sonora Elks´ Lodge. Kie, as she´s called, says she grew-up knowing that she´d be a contestant in the queen competition some day.
This year´s first runner-up is Kayla Lyons.
