Accident Delays Bay Bridge Retrofit

An accident on the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge yesterday is stalling the earthquake retrofit project. A worker was battered and bruised after he was pinned beneath a heavy steel-framed wooden panel. It´s the fourth construction accident on the bridge in the past 18 months. Work has been suspended while the latest incident is investigated.
