Child Neglect Defendants Get October Trial Date

Four adults leading a 13-child family have plead innocent in Marin County to charges they let one child starve to death and severely neglected the others. Prosecutors say Winnfred Wright and three women ran a house in which ill-fed children were beaten and neglected. The judge hearing the case yesterday set a trial date of October 28th.
