Bay Area Housing Gives A Little

Sponsored by:

The San Francisco Bay area housing market may be on the upswing with low interest rates now available and hints of an economic recovery on the horizon.

Bay Area homes are once again selling quickly, according to a report in today´s San Francisco Chronicle.

The median home price in the Bay Area dropped from 469-thousand dollars in December of 2000 to 466-thousand in November of 2001.

Those figures come from the California Association of Realtors.

Real estate agents say they are seeing more business than past year, but the Bay Area housing market still has not matched the real estate boom of two years ago.
