PG And E Charges May Drop

The Public Utilities Commission wants Pacific Gas and Electric to charge its customers less for power that the utility generates from its own nuclear power plants, and peg its other costs to that price. A draft decision would allow the utility to collect less than one-half of the six-point-four billion dollars sought by PG and E.
