Only San Francisco Needs To Ban Peeing In Public

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors has voted unanimously in favor of a ban on urinating and defecating in public. Homeless advocates lobbied against the proposed law, and others called for more public toilets. The ban could call for $50 to $500 in fines for violators, if it is officially approved. The board will vote on it again next week, then send it to Mayor Willie Brown to sign.
