Calaveras Prosecutors May Seek Death Penalty

A Calaveras County man accused of shooting two neighbors to death could face the death penalty. But prosecutors haven’t said if they will seek that sentence for 63-year-old Peter Chiesa. He is accused of killing 43-year-old Leslie Hannameyer and 41-year-old Annette Truman in a dispute over a road easement.
