TGH Budget Delayed
Discussion of the Tuolumne General Hospital individual budget was missing from Tuesday’s county supervisor’s day-long budget hearing.
County administrator Brent Wallace told the supervisors TGH missed the scheduled deadline to provide a revised budget for review.
Wallace told the supervisors part of that delay rests on his office. “We could have really forced the issue,” Wallace said yesterday. “My concern would have been, we would have had a document that wasn’t the best we could have provided.”
The county’s allocation to TGH is $2-million out of the total $94.1- million budget. The hospital trustees´ approved budget is slated to be presented to the county supervisors September 24.
