Manteca Councilman Gets Jail Time

A San Joaquin County judge has sentenced a former Manteca city councilman to 120 days in jail for soliciting a bribe while in office. Dave Macedo also received five years probation yesterday after trying to get $7,500 for a vote to renew a contract for the city attorney.
