Victim Identified in Snowmobile Accident

The victim in Friday afternoon´s fatal snowmobile accident on Highway 4 has been
identified.
Highway Patrol investigators say 36-year-old Alfred Olivera of Vallecito left the groomed snowmobile trail in the closed portion of the road
in Alpine County at about 60 miles per hour, and struck a tree.
He died of major chest injuries.
