Yosemite Considers Change

The Southern Mewuk Indian community says a construction project threatens a culturally sensitive area
around Yosemite Creek. That´s prompted officials to consider a different building site at the base of Yosemite Falls. The objection involves the proposed site of
new restrooms near a viewing area for the falls. Public comments on the plan will be accepted until August 20th.
