Homeless Woman Offered Probation

A 66-year-old Buena Park woman accused of breaking the law by being homeless could get
probation.
A judge yesterday offered Diane Grue probation over a prosecutor´s objections.
Grue either must accept the judge´s offer or
challenge the city´s ordinance against sleeping in public.
Grue says she lives in cheap motels the first two weeks of the month but then is homeless after
her government checks run out.
