Accused Speeder Also Faces Drug and Weapons Charges

Tuolumne County deputies have a 42 year old man jailed on several charges, after he was caught with
weapons and drugs in his vehicle.
Deputies say Gary Lyn Kerns was speeding near the Rail fence Motel on Highway 108 early yesterday morning. A
deputy says he stopped him near Hammond Ford, and found a sawed off shotgun and a taped up ax handle in the vehicle.
At the jail deputies also
found some suspected Methamphetimine during the booking process. Kerns is being held on a variety of charges.
