Burglars, Thieves Busy In Motherlode

Tuolumne County deputies are investigating a burglary reported at the Long Barn Lodge. The victim reports someone broke into the change machine and got away with a total of $1,500 in cash.
Sonora Police are investigating the theft of $150.00 in cash from a wallet at Sonora High School, a burglary to a home in the 200 block of Knowles Hill and the theft of more than $3,000 worth of jewelry from a home on Elk Street.
