Couple Pleads Innocent In Lake Tahoe Murder

A couple accused of killing a 9 year old girl at Lake Tahoe has plead innocent to murder charges with special circumstances that include kidnapping and use of a knife.

Lisa Ann Platz, the 32 year old mother of the girl and 35 year old James Csucsai could be sentenced to life without parole or death if convicted in California´s El Dorado County Superior Court.

District Attorney Gary Lacy, who is prosecuting the case, said he is going to wait to receive all relevant information before deciding whether to seek the death penalty. More than 400 pages of reports have already been filed, and a toxicology report and FBI reports are still pending.

Rebbeca Aramburo died early September 21st inside a tent at Campground by the Lake. Her throat was cut sometime during a 9 hour standoff with law enforcement.
