UC Approves New Admission Requirements

The University of California regents have approved a new admissions process that takes into account applicants´ life experience as well as academics.
The policy is known as comprehensive review. It takes into account personal hardships and challenges, looking at such things as whether a student overcame poverty or has special talents.
