Angels Camp, CA – Burglars in Angels Camp got away with over $35,000 in stolen items.

The Angels Camp Police Department reports that a call came in Monday morning about a burglary at 1108 Murphys Grade Road. When officers arrived, they found a 2013 Dodge Ram pickup truck had been stolen. It had “TGR Helicopters” decals on the side doors. Items inside the truck included tools, flashlights, an aircraft seat cushion, a part of a helicopter, a laptop computer, and a television. During a search of the yard, officers also discovered five PG&E trucks were vandalized.

The stolen truck, and several of the stolen items, were found the next day outside of Calaveras County. Police will not reveal the exact location. Detectives believe the burglary occurred sometime over the weekend between Friday night and Monday morning.

The Police Department says the investigation involves multiple law enforcement agencies working to identify suspects, and to recover the rest of the stolen property. If you have any information regarding the theft, please contact the Angels Camp Police Department at (209) 736-2567 or acpd@angelscamp.gov.
