New Mother Lode Fair Appointee

Sonora, CA – Governor Jerry Brown has appointed a Sonora resident to the 29th District Agricultural Association Mother Lode Fair Board of Directors. 54-year-old Missy Marino will now fill the seat.

According to Governor Brown, Marino has the qualifications necessary to fill the position and has met the following criteria:


Missy Marino has been an administrative assistant at ServiceMaster Sierras since 2013. She held multiple positions at the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit from 1982 to 2013, including finance office technician and Baseline Conservation Camp office technician. Marino was an office assistant at the California Department of Corrections Sierra Conservation Center from 1979 to 1982. She is a member of the San Marino Farm Bureau and member of the Board of Directors and secretary-treasurer of the Tuolumne County Resource Conservation District. This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation. Marino is a Republican.
