Plenty To Do This Easter
The Mother Lode has many events centered on the Easter holiday this weekend.
It kicks off this Friday with The Road to Calvary – an Easter production. Experience a live outdoor performance and guided tour of the last footsteps of Jesus Christ. There are performance on both Friday and Saturday beginning at 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm at Christian Heights Church in Sonora.
Saturday the Easter festivities continue at the Christian Heights Church with a free community Easter egg hunt starting at 10 am.
Find some treasure at the Relay for Life Yard Sale Fundraiser. Tuolumne County’s Relay For Life will be hosting a multi-team yard sale fundraiser at the Junction Shopping Center from 8 am-3 pm. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.
You can put on your running shoes for the 3rd Annual Believe in the Cure 5k Walk/Run at Summerville High. It starts at the Summerville High School & Westside property at 9 am. This year’s proceed recipients are Cory Ellis in Twain Harte and the Sonora Regional Medical Center Cancer Patient Support Fund.
Then on Sunday, more fun for the family at the Columbia’s Easter Parade & Egg Hunts. The event begins 11:00 am and runs through 2:00 pm at Columbia State Historic Park.
Kids can find more eggs at the Murphys-Angels Lions Club & Ironstone Vineyards – Annual Easter Egg Hunt too! The hunt begins at the Ironstone Vineyard’s Amphitheater from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.
