Sidewalk And Retaining Wall Construction On Mono Way
Sonora, CA — Work on the Mono Way widening project picks up this week.
The City of Sonora reports that concrete will be set in place for the new sidewalks, curb and gutter on the west end of the project. Construction of the new retaining wall on the north side of Mono Way will continue from Cameron Lane to Rogers Road. That work will last for two more weeks.
If you are traveling westbound on Mono Way this week, be prepared for occasional detours down to Sanguinetti Road. The full closure of Mono Way, for the culvert work, is expected to run from July 28 to August 8th. It is noted that there will remain access to all businesses throughout the Mono Way construction.
