Rim Fire Case Back In Court

Fresno, CA — A status conference is scheduled for Wednesday for Tuolumne County resident Keith Emerald, who is accused of starting the 2013 Rim Fire.
It is unclear if a trial date will be set at the conference. At a court appearance in October, Emerald’s attorney noted that she was preparing a motion seeking additional evidence, indicating that prosecutors were not providing all the information compiled during the investigation.
Wednesday’s status conference is scheduled for 9:30am in Fresno.
