Weather Contributed To Weekend Crash On Highway 4

San Andreas, CA – It is likely that misty weather conditions contributed to a weekend rollover crash on Highway 4.
Around 11 p.m. Saturday, according to the California Highway Patrol San Andreas Unit, a solo teen driver traveling westbound on the highway in a 2006 Hyundai, slid off the wet roadway and hit an embankment, just west of Pool Station Road. The impact overturned the vehicle onto its roof.
Taken to Mark Twain Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries was 18-year-old Karen Gomez, a Turlock resident. The CHP reports that neither drugs nor alcohol were factors in the crash.
