Man Arrested In Jamestown For Attempted Murder, Kidnapping

Sponsored by:

Jamestown, CA — A domestic dispute led to a list of charges against a Jamestown man.

Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an address in Jamestown late last week after 43-year-old David Sean Johnson allegedly physically assaulted a woman several times, wrapped a metal chain around her neck, and refused to let her leave. He had left the area by the time deputies arrived.

Later that night, they learned that he was at another location in Jamestown, and he was located, and arrested. The sheriff’s office reports that he refused to walk to the patrol vehicle, so deputies had to physically move him.

Johnson was booked into the Dambacher Detention Center for attempted murder, felony domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, kidnapping, and resisting arrest.
