There are several holiday plays, appearances by Santa and more events scheduled for this weekend.

Bret Harte Theater in Angels Camp is hosting the 10th annual Studio 4 Dance Theater production of “The Nutcracker” ticket details and more information about the performers is in our events calendar here.

At Murphys Creek Theater enjoy the play Inspecting Carol, performances will continue through December 23rd.  Sierra Repertory’s East Sonora Theatre is showing Holiday Jukebox also through December 23rd.

Take a drive through Phoenix Lake and see the 2018 Christmas Light Show after dark. A map of the location is in the community event listing here. The display is put on by the Athletic Scholarship Foundation of Tuolumne County through Christmas Eve.

If you haven’t caught Santa at Courthouse Park he will be there weekdays from 3 to 5PM. Plus this Saturday, December 15th as detailed here, from 1 to 2PM you can have milk and cookies and/or play some games with Santa and then he will be at Courthouse Park from 3 to 5PM. Sunday Santa will be at Courthouse Park between Noon and 3:30PM. You can also catch Santa at the Winter Wonderland at Indigeny Reserve with gingerbread cookie decorating, ornament making, and face painting as featured here.

Saturday only at the Sonora Moose Family Center have Breakfast With Santa from 9 to 11AM. Details are here.

The Word of Life Fellowship Church in Mi Wuk Village will be hosting their 34th annual musical Christmas Celebration. Performances held Friday night, Saturday and Sunday are called The Joyful Sounds of Christmas: MAGNIFY. More details from the KVML Newsmaker are here.

At Sierra Bible Church on Sunday enjoy their “Straight Outta Bethlehem” Children’s Choir Performance.
