Original Post at 12:17pm: Sonora, CA — Comcast officials tell Clarke Broadcasting they are still gathering field information as to current service outage numbers due to this week’s storm system.
However, they now say as of Thursday night, an estimated 1,000 residential and business customers in Tuolumne County were without service. As we reported here Thursday, Twain Harte customers heard there were over 125 accounts affected in that area.
Comcast shares that some outages are a result of infrastructure damage from the storms and others are related to PG&E outages, in which case Comcast crews were following behind PG&E field teams. There is still no estimated time of complete restoration.
