A Heroin Bust In Calaveras County

Copperopolis, Ca — A resident’s tip brought Sheriff’s deputies to a car parked on the 200 block of Thompson lane in Copperopolis.
Deputies say they found 21 year old, Christopher Staedler and a 17 year old female smoking marijuana.
Upon further investigation they also found heroin on Staedler.
He was arrested for possession and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The 17 year old is now in Calaveras Child Protective Services.
