Sonora, CA– Next month, there will be a special benefit blood drive for longtime Cassina High School teacher Bob King.
The event, happening Wednesday, March 9th from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at Cassina High School, will help King who has been diagnosed with MDS due to a low white blood cell count. King will also be undergoing a bone marrow transplant in the spring.
For each person who donates blood in honor of King, a credit will be sent towards his blood transfusion related costs.
Bob King has been a teacher at Cassina High School for the past 26 years.
