CHP Identifies Accident Victim

Valley Springs, CA — The man killed in a Tuesday motorcycle accident in Calaveras County has been identified as 56-year-old Richard Crosse of Valley Springs.
The CHP reports that Crosse was hit by a Jeep driven by Becky Lee Foster of Valley Springs. Foster reportedly let her SUV cross the double yellow lines, and struck the motorcycle at 2:15pm on Highway 26 west of Hogan Dam Road.
A passenger on the motorcycle, 83-year-old Adelle Crosse of Valley Springs, was seriously injured. Foster reported minor injuries.
