Hicks faces charges of D.U.I., possession and transportation of a controlled substance, possession of controlled prescription medication and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
A request was also made to the Calaveras County District Attorney to file charges against Hicks for possession of a firearm while in commission of a felony.
