Sacramento, CA — A new Rasmussen poll indicates that former Republican Congressman Tom Campbell currently has the best shot of unseating Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer.
A telephone poll conducted this week with likely California voters has Boxer with 42 percent of the vote and Campbell with 41 percent in a head to head matchup.
In a Boxer versus Assemblyman Chuck Devore matchup, Boxer received 46 percent and Devore 40 percent.
A third poll has Boxer defeating former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina by a 45 percent to 38 percent count.
