Yosemite National Park Flood Watch Issued
Sponsored by:
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Yosemite National Park from Saturday evening through Tuesday morning.
Warm temperatures and melting snow will cause the Merced River at Pohono bridge to crest near flood stage on Sunday morning and rise just above flood stage early Monday morning and again on Tuesday morning.
Residents, campers and hikers should closely monitor water levels along the upper Merced River and heed the advice of Park officials when and if evacuations become necessary.
