Planning For Columbia’s Future
Columbia, CA — The Tuolumne County Supervisors have approved a comprehensive Columbia Circulation Plan.
The Tuolumne County Transportation Council has been coordinating the plan’s development over the past 18 months with help from community stakeholders.
It lists potential projects that would benefit the Columbia area, and will be used to apply for potential state and federal grants.
Top priorities for Columbia include a Parrotts Ferry Road Bypass feasibility study, Columbia to Sonora bicycle connector trail, bicycle parking for Columbia State Park, a Pedro Y intersection improvement study, a Sawmill and Parrotts Ferry Road intersection modification study and a list of others.
The plan had already been approved by the Stakeholders Advisory Group and the Columbia Area Planning Commission.
