McClung Named Calaveras District Ranger
Sonora, CA — Teresa McClung has been named the new District Ranger of the Stanislaus National Forest´s Calaveras Ranger District.
“Teresa is well-known for her great successes in partnership development, collaboration and teamwork, especially in the area of natural resource management,” reads a statement from Susan Skalski, Stanislaus NF Supervisor.
“In her new position as District Ranger, I anticipate she will excel in developing the partnerships we need to best achieve national goals and manage the challenging recreation and natural resource issues that are very important to our local communities,” she adds.
McClung has spent 24 years with the Forest Service, working in a variety of positions. Since 2007, she has been the Resource Management Program Area Leader in the Calaveras Ranger District. The District encompasses approximately 250,000 acres in Calaveras, Tuolumne and Alpine Counties.
