BOFG School Board Calls Meeting To Schedule Recall Vote

Groveland, CA — The Big Oak Flat-Groveland Unified School Board has called for a special meeting this morning to schedule a recall election.
Nearly 1,200 signatures were collected on papers asking for a recall of each individual board member, including Bryan Berger, Charles Day, Lillian Cravens, Dave Gookin and Mary Kelly.
The recall effort initiated when the school board placed Tioga High math teacher Ryan Dutton on administrative leave.
The board is expected to schedule the election for sometime in May. The meeting will begin at 10:30am in the District Office.
