Bomb Scare Closes Courthouses For Only 40 Minutes

Sonora, CA — A bomb scare closed the Tuolumne County courthouses for only 40 minutes earlier this afternoon.
According to Sgt. Ken Diaz a male caller contacted courthouse security stating that a bomb would explode sometime today. Security immediately contacted the Sheriff’s Office.
Both courthouses were thoroughly searched and not a single suspicious package was discovered.
The courthouses were reopened for business at 2:10pm.
