Hwy 49 Crash Victim Passes Away

San Andreas, CA — The San Andreas CHP office has received confirmation from the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office that 50-year-old Margaret Colson of Altaville has passed away from injuries sustained in a rollover accident on June 11th on Hwy 49 near San Andreas.
Colson lost control of her 1994 Buick while traveling southbound on Hwy 49 near River Ranch Rd. Her vehicle eventually left the roadway and overturned multiple times before coming to rest on its roof.
Colson was transported by ground to Mark Twain-St. Joseph’s Hospital and then transferred by helicopter to Sacramento.
