Hwy 49 Overlay Project Will Slow Traffic

San Andreas, CA – A paving project will slow traffic on Hwy 49 from the Hwy 12 junction in Calaveras County to the Hwy 88 intersection in Amador County.
One-way traffic control operations will be in place from Tuesday, July 7th to Friday, July 10th from 7am to 5pm. Motorists can expect 20 minute delays and alternate routes are recommended if possible.
The contractor for the $1.9 million project is George Reed, Inc.
