Radanovich Meets With Mother Lode Groups
Sonora, CA — Congressman George Radanovich is in Tuolumne County today visiting with different groups about issues facing the region.
“I think forest issues are at the top right now, and it really forces the community to look at other things to generate growth in the economy,” says Radanovich. “In the Valley it is usually water causing the problems and in the mountains it is usually environmentalists who want restrictions on timber harvesting.”
Radanovich attended a meeting with a group from the Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce, and later met with representatives of TuCare.
The U.S. House is currently in its August recess.
