Statistics Compare Weekly Salaries Across State

Sonora, CA — Federal statistics released Thursday show that the average weekly pay of fulltime employed residents in Tuolumne County was $738 at the end of last year, while Calaveras County was $669.
Ranking the highest in California was Santa Clara County at $1,566 and the lowest was Mariposa County at $594. Amador County was $773, San Joaquin $796, Stanislaus $759 and Merced $686.
Statewide, the average weekly rate is $1,042.
The numbers were compiled by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics using the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages.
