Calaveras County Narcotics Enforcement Unit Strikes Gold

San Andreas, CA — With an assist from state agency CAMP (Campaign Against Marijuana Planting) and Bureau of Land Management rangers, the Calaveras County Narcotics Enforcement Unit eradicated 2,789 plants Friday afternoon.
The location of the grow was on BLM property near Fricot City. The grow was discovered through aerial observance. No arrests were made.
Street value of the eradicated plants; approximately $5,578,000.
