Tuolumne County Health Fair Scheduled For Fairgrounds
Sonora, CA — The popular Tuolumne County Health Fair is set for Tuesday and Wednesday at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds.
Kathy Amos, Tuolumne County Director of Public Health Nursing, expects over 100 booth participants on hand this year.
Free screenings are expected to include hearing, vision/glaucoma, oral screening, chiropractic screening, bone density, body fat analysis, blood pressure, lung function testing and anemia testing.
Blood testing will be available for $20.
Residents will also have a chance to receive the seasonal flu shot. Medicare will be billed for those who are covered. A good will donation is requested for those not covered under Medicare. The H1N1 vaccine will not be available.
The Health Fair will run from 7am until 3pm both days. Blood testing ONLY will begin at 5am to accommodate work schedules.
