Clean-Up Continues On Parrotts Ferry Vegetation Fire

Sonora, Ca — According to the CAL Fire Incident Command Center in San Andreas, Friday night´s grass fire off Parrotts Ferry Rd. in the Valecito area was 18 acres in size before it was finally controlled.
No structures were damaged, and the cause of the incident remains under investigation. Two engines and one hand crew are on scene this morning. Later today there will be three engines and two hand crews to mop up any hot spots. The fire started shortly before 6pm.
