Board Approves Contract For Jamestown Landfill Work

Sonora, Ca — The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors has approved a $5.9 million contract with Sukut Construction to finish the Jamestown Landfill closure.
A total of six bids were received by the May 19th deadline, and Sukut had the lowest amount by over $365,000.
A motion to approve the contract was voted 5-0 by the Board. The closure should be completed by December 8th.
