2,400 Expected To Be Without Power Until Late Friday Night

Jamestown, Ca — According to PG&E, 2,400 customers are still without power due a collision on Jamestown Rd. this morning that took the life of an unidentified Modesto man.
A power pole that the truck collided with needs to be completely replaced, and a crew will be on scene working tonight. PG&E Spokesperson Nicole Tam says the 2,400 customers will likely be without power until 11pm this evening.
CHP Officer Tom Wills says that Jamestown Rd. near the Golf Links Rd. intersection will remain closed until approximately midnight. You will need to find an alternate route.
