Tuolumne County Board Of Supervisors Set To Open 2008 Today
Sonora, CA — The consideration of approval of the elimination and modification of positions at VNA-Hospice and associated layoffs is just one of the many significant items on today´s agenda for the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors.
In addition CAO Craig Pedro will ask the Board to consider the final status report on the Board´s 2007 goals.
At 11am the Board is scheduled to consider the final cover alternatives for the Jamestown Landfill along with the selection of a preferred alternative for submission to the Regional Water Quality Control Board and Integrated Waste Management Board.
An hour later there will be the election of a new Chair and Vice-Chair for the Board. The current Vice-Chair, Dick Pland, is expected to move into the Chair position to be vacated by Mark Thornton.
