Potential Two Week Delay Upcoming For Mountain Springs Decision
Sonora, CA — At 1:30pm tomorrow the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will vote on whether to grant the proponents and opponents of the Mountain Springs Community project a two week delay prior to a decision by the Board.
Ron Kopf, the Operations Manager of Mountain Springs Community is the key proponent. Kopf stated that, “In recent weeks we have engaged in discussions with members of the community that have expressed opposition to our development plan. A compromise alternative leaves open the possibility of avoiding further delays and divisiveness. We think it´s worth the effort to see if such a compromise can be reached for considation by the Board.”
Opponents of the project include Voters Choice and the Central Sierra Environmental Resource Council.
Tomorrow morning at nine o´clock click Supervisors Meeting for the Blue Mountain Minerals presentation.
