Second Foothill Farmlands Arts Festival Will Begin Saturday
Sonora, Ca — The weeklong Foothill Farmlands Arts Festival will get underway this weekend.
?There will be six exciting events that community members and visitors can attend,? says organizer B.Z. Smith. ?Some are free, others require tickets, and they are all designed to celebrate the very best of our life in Tuolumne County.?
Smith says the event will celebrate the artistic community, our open farmlands and the agricultural products grown in Tuolumne County.
The event will begin Saturday with ?Golden Hills Traditions: Family Arts Day? at Mt. Brow Winery. The free event will run from 10am-4pm. Saturday evening from 6-9pm will be Wild West Music and a Barbeque at the Hurst Ranch.
On Sunday, there will be a day of free entertainment at the Aspen Meadow Pack Station. Highlights will include live music, poetry and storytelling.
